A rescuer ties a secure knot to the harness of a climber who was uninjured but unable to complete their intended route, Arête des Cosmiques. The rescue team was called at night and the helicopter couldn't fly in the storm, so they had to request for the Aiguille du Midi cablecar to be reopened and proceeded to the rescue on foot.
